Something new

I am so excited to announce that I am going on a trip to San Luis, Mexico in January with DriButts Mission! We are going to deliver diapers and work with the seamstress that makes the diapers.
I can't lie, I am nervous as I have not done anything but Medical missions and only have gone to Honduras. But this nervousness is combined with excitement too. I will be experiencing a new culture, but the work is the same.....bringing the word of God to people and showing them the love through our work, words and compassion. I do not know what to expect, but I am keeping an open mind and heart. I know God will lead us to what he wants our team to achieve for his works.

I still plan on keeping my mission with Honduras. I do not know what my future in missions is, but God does and I follow his plan.

God says GO. Trust him. He will guide you. My ask of you is to pray. For me and the teams.

Please pray for my Mexico Dributts team as we get our planning together and to not have any hiccups along the way.
Also pray for my Honduras team and the Ruben House. We are starting the planning for our trip in July and will be talking with our partners in the next few weeks.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. 1 Chronicles 16:24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

Romans 10:13 -15 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

The team is back!

The team is back and boy did they have a great one! There were 2 wellness medical clinics that provided help to approximately 250 people. There was also 2 prenatal clinics that provided ultrasounds to 80 women.

This is amazing!! Our team also conducted women's ministries and children's ministries.  They conducted prayer walks to those villages they visited. I really missed going! I will be going next year and can't wait to be involved!

Our team is growing and doing so much in Honduras. I am so glad I am part of a team that loves on others and is not afraid to GO.

We are in the reviewing part of this trip and looking at planning 2024 soon. Our partners in Honduras are coming to the states in the next month and we will be able to sit with them and discuss the trip and how they see our work continuing since we left.

Thank you for your prayers and support. You will be hearing more.

Prayer changes everything

Did you know that? Prayer is the game changer. It is the difference between hot and cold, nervous or calm. Prayer is your connection with God. Your life line. Your way to talk with him and know he is listening to you and is with you.

I am working on the clinics for our Honduras team for their trip in July. I am so excited for them. It is a lot of work on the backside of planning clinics before the team even arrives in Honduras. They will be serving and witnessing to them. But is our hearts are not prepared before we leave to do this, we will not be as effective. You must first prepare yourself to give to others.

This is by praying and spending time with your saviour in worship. Everyone's worship looks different, but God loves them all. Missions is everywhere, everyday. So start your day by preparing your heart to give to others.

Bendiciones,

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Are you all in?

Are you all in or just partially in? This is a question not just for mission, but for life itself. God wants us to be all in. Even in the scary times and those not so scary.  Being all in causes you to step out of your comfort zone and listen and act on what you know you need to do.

Even though I am not going this year, I am still part of our team. You see, it not only takes those that are going to do the work there, it takes us that are here to help with the behind the scenes work. There is planning that needs to be done, ordering of supplies, and packing to be done. Also, the help with donations of money and time to get this all accomplished so that God's plan will be done.

I am excited for our team! We have a one of our largest teams going this year that we have had in a long time. We were a little nervous about changing the date but we put our faith and trust in God that he knows what he is doing. And look! HE never disappoints!

So I am helping with the planning part of the clinics. I still get to be a part of this team even though I will not be there. There is a lot to do and July will be here fast. Please keep our team in your prayers. If you wish to help with donations, please reach out to me.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who trust in the LORD will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.

A time for everything

My fish friend has the expression of disbelief. Yes, it is true, I am not going this year to Honduras. Our trip dates have changed to July, but I also have had some personal things come up and cannot go. I am sad, but I also feel relieved. Relieved so I can manage this personal thing and not have to worry about planning and managing the trip and clinics. So I have passed the baton. I know the clinic is in good hands and will be just as successful.

Next year, 2024, is another year. So hopefully my health will be better and new things and adventures will come. My ask of you is to continue to pray for our team. For God's word and love to be spread to our brothers and sisters in Honduras.

I look forward to see what God has in store for our team and for me!

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2     a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3     a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4     a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5     a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6     a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7     a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8     a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
