Homesick

Homesick.  I got to speak with my hubs while I was in Honduras, but it was hard being away from him and the kids. He said that he didn’t know if I could do this again. I just had to pray to God and that he knows how to take care of me and them while we are apart. I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with my dad and share this experience with him. He is such an amazing man. He blesses everyone who is around him, even me!

Our trip was over valentine’s day and dad got me a card! Also, hubs emailed me and said that he didn’t mean to be so mushy in the previous email and that he just wishes I wasn’t so far away. I will be home soon.

We are planning our last VBS. This trip has been exciting and very challenging, but I hope I have done what God has sent me here to do, whatever that may be. Very funny that God is speaking now. As I write this, I open my last letter from my prayer partner and she writes from Genesis 28:15- I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done that of which I have spoken to you.

Thank you for reminding me that God is with me everywhere and all the time, he is good!

Even though I am homesick, I am homesick already for this country. The people here are captivating and very loving. But even with the good, there is evil everywhere. But God is protecting us.
